The Base Explorer Duo is a huge play system with two towers connected with a 2.3m bridge. Choose between 1.5m or 1.8m platform height, to give your little ones plenty of headroom as they grow.
This is not your average climbing frame; it’s much bigger than anything else on the market, so it can be used by many children at the same time for countless hours of outdoor fun. Built with commercial grade timber - Scandinavian, pressure-treated Redwood, which is known for its good quality, this is a robust construction that will last for many years to come, reflected by our 15 year guarantee on the timber (against rot and infestations).
The two ground-floor ‘playhouses’ and upper floor platforms give children plenty of room to play and safely access the monkey bars, timber ramp and slide. It is also suitable for all ages and not just toddlers, unlike most cheaper alternatives, due to the generous platform height. With a great choice of accessories, you can design the perfect playground for the whole family. Choose between a wave slide, super slide, tube slide (only available for 1.8m platform height), monkey bars/ swings, climbing wall, scramble net, fire pole and more.

Our frames are made by hand by our team in Gloucestershire who have over 15 years’ experience. All timber is sustainably sourced from FSC or PEFC endorsed forests. If you choose our installation service, we always concrete our climbing frames in place so you can be assured the equipment is safe, sturdy and durable. Our playgrounds work best on flat, level ground but our skilled installers can work miracles on uneven landscape.
The Base Explorer Duo Set in the photos includes:

We offer a complete installation service throughout mainland UK. Our installers are fully trained, clean and tidy and they will always help you site your equipment where it’s best and ensure you are happy with everything before they leave.

Step 1: Let's talk 📞
We start by discussing your requirements and customisation options including space, budget and must-haves. It’s helpful to know where the frame will be built, so we’ll ask you for photos of the site and basic dimensions. In some cases, we come out for a site visit.

Step 2: We'll 3D design your frame 👨🏻💻
Our design team will prepare a 3D drawing (to scale) showing you exactly what the climbing frame would look like in your space. We also provide a detailed breakdown of all costs, so you know exactly what you are paying for but also how changes can affect the overall project value.
Our design service is entirely free and obligation-free. If you decide to leave us after this stage, we promise to have no hard feelings 💛

Step 3: Build & Enjoy 🛝
Once you approve the design, our team in Gloucestershire will start building your personalised playground by hand. We offer completely hassle-free installation with our fully trained, in-house installation team.
We agree a date to come and commence the build. In most cases, assembly involves a 3-man team, and it takes around 2/3 days for a single frame set.

Delivery is free to UK mainland.
We use two methods of delivery, either on one of our own dedicated vehicles or via a national pallet network. You will be notified by email at the point of dispatch which method is chosen, this will be decided based upon your postcode.
If delivery is by one of our dedicated vehicles you will receive an email notifying you of the day of delivery, followed by a SMS message on the morning of delivery with an hours delivery slot.
If your delivery is via the national pallet network you will receive a call directly from them to arrange the day of delivery.
